World War Two Aircraft wreckage discovered in the North Sea

Through the use of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), a wreck believed to be a British World War Two aircraft that carried supplies to the Norwegian resistance has been discovered by engineers carrying out sea-bed surveys in the North Sea. Experts have identified the wreck as an RAF Short Stirling heavy bomber, which played a major role in delivering supplies from Britain to Norwegian resistance fighters throughout the war. However, the Short Stirling encountered problem reaching over 15,000 feet when fully loaded, according to a Second World War aviation enthusiast.
